How can I know your Candizolv™ is better than the cheap foreign chitinases?
Candizolv’s ingredients have been formulated at, and are sourced through, the Health Specialties Manufacturing (HSM) facility, which is a certified GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) facility in San Diego, California. HSM, http://www.liquidexperts.com/, is a wholly owned subsidiary of The GHT Companies (Global Health Trax) and operates out of an FDA registered and inspected facility.
They also buy raw ingredients from sources that follow the strict guidelines regulated by the cGMPs (current GMPs) that are enforced in this industry. From sourcing raw materials through manufacturing, packaging and shipping product to their final destination, HSM follows rigorous policies and procedures insuring you will receive product of the highest quality.
The foreign-sourced chitinases, on the other hand, are veterinary grade at best, and are not even legal to import into the US for human consumption.
Why is there Sugar and Yeast in the ThreeLac™?
Sugar: The sweetness of ThreeLac™ comes mainly from lemon powder and FOS (fructooligosacharrides). There is no added sugar in ThreeLac™. (The category called “Sugars” is an FDA-required category that accounts for all sources of sweetness in any given product.) Erythrytol is a 'sugar alcohol' that, like Xylitol, does not feed yeast.
Yeast: ThreeLac™ is so one-pointed on eating yeast that inactive yeast is added as a food to keep it alive until it can get at YOUR fungal yeast overgrowth! This tiny amount of inactive brewers yeast does NOT cause problems with feeding your Candida overgrowth problem, and we've had no reports to date of allergic reactions.
Tell me about the Candida Saliva Test
The Candida saliva test is one of those nutrition industry tests that has been around so long that no one knows the true origin. However, many healthcare professionals use it as an indication of elevated Candida yeast presence. We have never seen clinical data on the test itself but the logic is as follows:
The Candida yeast "factory" is in the gut. As Candida starts to multiply it moves through the mucosal system, up into the stomach (causing bloating and indigestion), up the esophagus and into the mouth, where if it multiplies—you can even see it as a white coating in your mouth and on your tongue. Fungus is heavier than water. When you spit saliva into a glass of water, the heavier, denser areas of yeast will sink, forming a cloudiness and/or "strings".
All people have Candida in their digestive systems, but only those with elevated Candida yeast levels and/or the fungal form, will fail the Candida saliva or spit test. Many believe that you can even determine the severity of your infection by the behavior of the saliva in the water. The thicker or heavier the "strings" and the faster it all sinks ,the worse it is. If the saliva is light and floats in "specks" in the middle of the glass then your Candida infection is lighter. *

Can Candida be Truly Cured?
Nothing "cures" Candida. We all have a small amount of Candida yeast in our digestive systems (it is supposed to be there, as part of a balanced microbiome). Once you have experienced fungal Candida yeast overgrowth, you will need to be aware of it always, as it will have a tendency to overgrow under conditions that are pretty normal for daily life. The good news is that the right treatment can bring this imbalance back to a healthy balance and eliminate all your symptoms.
Fungi also can mutate between yeast and mold, and in a mold state it can release spores when under attack. These spores then wait it out until the environment becomes more friendly. Our website calls our programs "Candida Defense" and that is exactly what they are.
Taken at therapeutic levels for 4 to 5 months our products devastate the fungus so much that you can then take a low, inexpensive maintenance dose to keep those levels down and your symptoms gone—much like taking a daily vitamin/mineral supplement for ongoing health. Most others won't tell you this truth about Candida overgrowth.
What are "Therapeutic" and "Maintenance" doses?
For ThreeLac™ the therapeutic dose is 2 to 4 packets per day. Each box holds 60 packets. When taken with Candizolv™ at the start the dose is 2 packets per day for 4 months.

What should I expect once I begin this Natural Candida Treatment program?

Do I keep taking ThreeLac™ after my fungal Candida symptoms are gone?
ThreeLac™ is a Candida Defense product. We recommend taking one ThreeLac™ packet per day as maintenance after your Candida overgrowth symptoms are gone. Our FiveLac™ and SevenLac™ products contain repopulating "good" bacteria and are also recommended as a maintenance alternative to ThreeLac™. Because of their extra ingredients, they cost a bit more—however, many people find they can get by with fewer packets per week than the ThreeLac™. How long do I need to take these Natural Candida Products before I am better?
Because everyone is a unique individual, it is not possible to predict how long it will take for you to be completely free of Candida overgrowth symptoms. It depends on many factors: how long you have had the Candida yeast overgrowth, what strains of Candida you have, and where in the body it has gone. Other issues such as hormonal or blood sugar fluctuations, the need to take antibiotics and/or steroid medication and environment and lifestyle also play a part. As you might imagine, it takes some time to turn the tide against an entrenched fungal problem. In general, we recommend taking natural ThreeLac™ doses at therapeutic levels for 4 to 6 months.
After the first 3 or 4 months most Candida overgrowth symptoms should be gone. How is Leaky Gut Syndrome related to allergies?

What is Oral Thrush?
Candidal esophagitis (Oral Thrush) is a fungal or yeast infection of the esophagus. It is caused by the yeast Candida. People with weak immune systems are at risk for candidal infections.

Can I take the products if I'm nursing a baby?
There is nothing in our products that would be unsafe for a pregnant or nursing mother or baby.
However, fungal Candida overgrowth can often be the body’s way of “binding” heavy metals (for instance: lead, mercury) and other toxins. When the yeast begins to die off during the course of treatment with our products, those toxins are released into the body to be disposed of by our liver and kidneys and possibly small amounts are released into the mother’s milk. (Our midwife told us that during pregnancy, anything that the mother is exposed to or takes in is magnified 20x across the placenta and to the baby in utero; 1/20th of any substance the mother is exposed to or consumes can be released into the breast milk.)
So, if you think you have been exposed to heavy metals and/or toxins, to be on the cautious side (and I am a mom myself, so caution is my middle name!) you might want to wait until you give birth, or even until you wean your baby, to take our products.
Federal and State Regulation
Global Health Trax is regulated under the FDA and the State of California Food and Drug Branch. The branch of FDA that oversees imports is very concerned with public safety, and we agree with this concern. ThreeLac™ is safe and pure based on exacting tests performed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). While it's true the FDA does not normally govern natural products they do inspect ThreeLac as it is imported from Japan and is subject to their import control (example of a 2004 inspection here). Both of these agencies inspect GHT's facilities and monitor their activities. GHT also follows guidelines called the Good Manufacturing Practices set forth by the FDA and the quality program HACCP. Taking ThreeLac™ or Candizolv™ while Pregnant
There is nothing in our products that would in any way be a problem for a pregnant woman, BUT after studying this for several years, we do not recommend that expectant mothers take ThreeLac™.
This is why: fungal Candida overgrowth can often be the body's way of "binding" heavy metals (for instance: lead, mercury) and other toxins. When the yeast begins to die off during the course of treatment with our products, those toxins are released into the body to be disposed of by the kidneys, liver, sometimes the skin—all organs of detoxification. In a "normal" adult, this process might be uncomfortable for a short time, but certainly is not dangerous. During pregnancy, however, whatever the mother takes in or is exposed to is magnified 20 times across the placenta and to the growing infant in utero. As a mom myself, I just would not take the chance of exposing a baby to those toxins "on their way out."
We have another recommendation: During your pregnancy you can help prepare your body for your battle with Candida by using some of ThreeLac's™ companion products; Oxygen Elements Max™ (but not more than 15 drops a day), and Active Digestive Enzymes™. With these already doing their job in your body you can add ThreeLac™ once your beautiful new baby is born. You will be off to a great start.
Generally, there is no problem with nursing and pursuing Candida healing, but, we have to add that if you think you have been exposed to heavy metals and/or toxins, those will be released into your milk as the fungal Candida dies off. (Unlike pregnancy, though, babies take in 1/20th of what a nursing mom takes in or releases.) Still, depending on how long you plan to nurse, we would bookmark our site and wait (we tend to be a bit over-careful about baby stuff!).
The other option would be to start with a low dose of ThreeLac™ (one packet daily) which should lessen your symptoms without releasing too many toxins. Then after you wean your baby, add more.
As with all recommendations for supplements taken during pregnancy and nursing we also have to say you should check with your doctor. *
Can anyone take ThreeLac™ and Candizolv™?
As part of our disclaimer, one word of caution. Please, be sure you don't need acute care for another medical condition. Many of these Candida-type symptoms can have other causes—even pathological diseases like cancer. If you are having severe symptoms be sure you first rule out all other diseases through a reliable medical professional.
Also, if you have a severely suppressed immune system ThreeLac™, FiveLac™, and SevenLac™ may be too strong for you. Those with severely suppressed immune systems (like AIDS patients) should not use the product(s) because Candida healing builds the immune system and, to the best of our knowledge, works against the medication you are using to prevent the spread of the disease. You should consult your doctor on this as we are not experts but we wish to keep you safe.
The only problems we've encountered are those people who have an allergy to one of ThreeLac's™ ingredients, such as the tiny amount of citrus powder. (Citris is also a problem for people with Interstitial Cystitis). If the lemon is the problem, ThreeLac™ Gel Caps are available (scroll down) without lemon.
I am lactose intolerant, can I take ThreeLac?
It is not necessary for those with lactose intolerance to avoid casein* and most lactose intolerant people can consume milk with the lactose removed. Casein is much more difficult since it tends to be in more products and for those that have a casein sensitivity problem even small amounts of casein can cause issues. People often react to one or the other of these two substances but not usually both.*Casein is the protein in milk, while lactose is milk sugar.
I am allergic to lemon, can I take ThreeLac?
ThreeLac does contain a tiny amount of lemon, however, it is also available in capsule form without any lemon in it.
ThreeLac™ for Young Children and Nursing Infants
We recommend that you check with the child’s physician before giving anything to a child under 5, just to make sure there are no reasons that child should not be taking that product. Many of our customers have used ThreeLac™ for young children, even infants, with good results. *
A number of our customers have put a "pinch" of ThreeLac™ on the nipple for nursing infants, or on the baby’s tongue. *

I'm not sure if I have Candida, will ThreeLac™ or Candizolv™ be harmful?
ThreeLac™ is, in its essence, a bowel conditioner. It has all-natural ingredients to support proper bowel function—including restoring the balance of "good" yeast in the gut and eliminating the bad overgrowth. There is nothing in ThreeLac™ that would be harmful to you. Candizolv™ weakens chitin—which does not exist in the human body in any normal or beneficial way—so it has no effect at all if there is no Candida overgrowth.

ThreeLac™ while taking Nystatin
We have never had any reports of a conflict between Nystatin and ThreeLac™. The same is true with any pharmaceutical antifungals (Diflucan, etc.) However, you should always consult your physician before discontinuing any prescription medication.
Enterococcus faecalis in ThreeLac™
Genus Enterococcus Faecalis (EF) is the name of a large family group of bacteria found natively in the human gut. In general, you want to stay away from this group, as some of its many numbers of sub-groups are not beneficial and can even be harmful. But the Japanese pharmaceutical company that developed ThreeLac™ spent years researching this group, because it exhibits a rare and unique vitality that other probiotics just don't have. Within Genus Enterococcus Faecalis this Japanese company (Snowden, Inc.) discovered a unique and powerful sub-group of Genus Enterococcus Faecalis that is very beneficial to our digestive systems.
The Enterococcus Faecalis in ThreeLac™ is a natural and beneficial resident of the intestines. It has been isolated, purified, and cultured under sterile conditions by growing it in sterile laboratories.

Is ThreeLac™ cultured in milk?
There is a slight amount of dairy product in ThreeLac™ (30 parts per million of casein). To date we have no reports of lactose intolerance or other reaction problems. Even those with casein allergies might want to check with their doctor and see if the amount is small enough to not be a problem.
Do These products Contain WHEAT, GLUTEN or CORN?
No. GHT makes every effort to avoid common food allergens in their products. ThreeLac™ and almost all GHT products are free of corn, wheat, and gluten (FiveLac™ contains a trace of gluten—a tiny 30 ppm; ThreeLac™ just 10 ppm). These amounts are not high enough to provoke a response. If you have Celiac Disease, however, it is best to check with your doctor and share the amounts per million.
Is Canola Oil Safe?
There is a lot of confusion about canola oil's safety, because people confuse it with Rapeseed oil, which has high levels of something called erucic acid.
